Sunday 11th June was the date for farming industry’s annual open day ‘Open Farm Sunday’ and local farm G’s put on a fabulous event as always.
G’s Open Farm Sunday has become an event that everyone looks forward to and this year did not disappoint. The timetable was jam packed with cookery displays, lettuce tours, competitions including ‘guess the number of lettuces’ and vote for the best scarecrow with wonderful creations from 7 local schools. There was also farm and factory tours, guided woodland walks and lots more on offer. Children and adults alike had a fabulous day out. Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, James Palmer and Lucy Frazer MP were amongst the many locals who attended.
