Lucy Frazer MP recently visited Hall Farm in Stetchworth last week for a meeting with Estate Manager, Ron Gabain, to discuss the future of farming post Brexit. The importance of farming, not only in relation to our food supply, but also in its role in the environment was top of the agenda. As long term Stewardship Agreement holders, Ron and his team have developed many habitats on the estate and he wanted to discuss with Lucy the importance of retaining these wildlife features long into the future. In addition they spoke about subsidies, tariffs and the importance of investing in agritech. Lucy is pictured being shown the high tech operation that farming has become and the technology employed by Hall Farm to assure the most effective crop production.
