On a recent visit to Corkers Crisps, Lucy Frazer MP was given an insight into the history of the company and its exciting plans for the future.
Formed in 2010, Corkers is now one of the UK’s most iconic crisp makers, with crisps made from local fen potatoes in a variety of flavours including the more unusual 'pork sausage and English mustard' and 'duck and hoisin sauce' flavours.
Lucy said “Corkers is a great local success story and I really enjoyed talking to Rod and David and getting to know more about the business. They have such an interesting story to tell and I wish them every success as they continue their journey.”
Corkers have won many industry awards and has grown to a team of over 100 people in the last seven years. Growing their own vegetables they are in total control of the supply chain right to the end product. Their latest launch is a range of olive oil crisps and these went down very well with the MP who tasted the black truffle, rosemary and garlic flavoured crisps from this range!
