Lucy Frazer MP spent time at Addenbrooke's Hospital, meeting with Chairman Mike More to catch up on the hospital’s current plans and performance since they last met before the recent election. Lucy also took the opportunity to meet with a group of doctors to hear first hand their views and ideas on public sector pay. Issues such as affordable housing and transport for key sector workers as barriers to the recruitment and retention of nurses and other healthcare workers were also discussed.
Lucy said, “I very much appreciate the doctors taking time out of their day to meet with me and relay their views on the major issues facing those working in the NHS. Having direct conversations of this kind is extremely helpful when it comes to debating such issues at Westminster and I will be relaying all the valuable points back at the earliest opportunity.”
