The potential impact of proposed rail improvements in Cambridgeshire on residents of Queen Adelaide and Prickwillow is of paramount concern to local MP Lucy Frazer.
Following a meeting in September in which Ms Frazer brought together residents of Queen Adelaide and Prickwillow with Network Rail and the County Council, the MP has been very active in meeting with all relevant parties to highlight the genuine concerns of her constituents.
Ms Frazer recently met with the Minister in question, Chris Grayling and last week she went on a site visit with Network Rail representatives to identify the plans of Network Rail and press the case for access for residents.
Lucy Frazer said, “The concerns of my constituents, should proposed works go ahead, are very real and it is imperative that all those involved in looking at the options for improving rail capacity in this area are aware of their impact. I will be putting forward residents views at every opportunity."
