Over the last six weeks, since Parliament was dissolved and campaigning for the General Election began, Lucy Frazer, Conservative candidate for South East Cambridgeshire, has enjoyed meeting people across the constituency. Whether visiting schools or businesses, knocking on doors, attending local fetes, joining local meet ups, spending time in local pubs or local market squares, Lucy has tried to meet as many constituents as possible from all sections of the constituency.
Ely, Burwell, Dullingham, Fen Ditton, Castle Camps, Reach, Horningsea, Fordham, Isleham, Soham, Bottisham, Over, Cheveley, Ashley, Balsham and Stretham are just some of the places that have welcomed Lucy in the past few weeks. Having served as MP for the area over the last two years, Lucy very much hopes she will be able to continue to represent South East Cambridgeshire going forwards. Lucy is passionate about making the voice and needs of the constituency and its constituents heard and pressing for improvements wherever they are needed.
Lucy said “The last 6 weeks has been a welcome opportunity for me to hear people's views about national and local issues. Not only is it a pleasure to have more time to stop and chat to people, the conversations I have had make me even more inspired to continue working for the people of South East Cambridgeshire and continue to do what I can to make a positive difference. I have so much I want to drive forward if I am given the honour of being re-elected and really appreciate everyone who has stopped or made time to talk to me in the past weeks and made their issues and concerns known. I am also extremely grateful for all the positive feedback and gratitude so many constituents have shown me for the work I have done in the past two years. It is such a privilege to represent such a vibrant constituency as South East Cambridgeshire and I hope I am in a position to continue such worthwhile and fulfilling work. ”
