Lucy Frazer MP attended one of the free 'healthy relationships and sexuality workshops' held by the Soham Friends Project at the Ross Peers Sports Centre on Friday. The workshops are aimed at raising awareness on diversity and equality, gender issues and sexuality and this one was funded by the Cambridgeshire Community Foundation. The workshops were led by The Kite Trust (formerly SexYOUality), who promote the health, well-being, and inclusion of LGBT+ young people across Cambridgeshire and whose remit is to raise awareness and to support and educate the local community. Lucy commented that "The discussions about relationships were wide ranging, inclusive and engaging. I was pleased to be able to join the workshop and see the difference that Soham Friends together with The Kite Trust are making for young people in our community who may be in need of support or advice or just a safe environment in which to discuss relationship and sexuality in an inclusive and non judgmental way."
