This week’s A10 report, commissioned by the Greater Cambridge Partnership, makes a number of recommendations with regards to upgrading the A10.
Local MP, Lucy Frazer welcomed the findings saying, “I have been campaigning for the A10 to be upgraded for over three years and this report is an important step towards resolving the capacity issues that face this key commuter road. Upgrading the A10 has an important role to play in creating jobs and prosperity in our region and would improve journey times for residents and commuters alike. I am pleased that the report looks into various different solutions and recommends a comprehensive multi-modal package of measures over the short, medium and long term - from investment in cycle paths to junction improvements and dualling both the southern and northern sections. I will continue to liaise with key stakeholders to press for the report’s recommendations to be taken forward as a priority.”
In order to illustrate the strength of local support and strengthen the case for funding the upgrade to the A10, Lucy Frazer has set up a petition on her website. You can add your name to this petition by clicking here.
