Leading agriculture company Syngenta help to improve global food security by enabling millions of farmers to make better use of available resources. Through science and innovative crop solutions, they work in over 90 countries to transform how crops are grown.
The Syngenta site at Fulbourn is home to their Crop Protection business which provides growers with a wide range of products to help protect their crops from pests, weeds and diseases.
Local MP, Lucy Frazer, recently visited Syngenta’s Fulbourn site and met with Gary Mills-Thomas (Head of the UK and Ireland) and James Taylor-Alford (UK Head of Seeds). She said, “I appreciated getting a real insight into the work Syngenta do to address key agricultural production problems. Through plant breeding and technological expertise they focus on ways to help the agricultural sector increase yield and produce more food from fewer hectares. I was pleased to have time with them to talk about what matters most to them in a post Brexit agricultural market."
