Anglian Water is seeking views on its proposal to relocate the Cambridge Waste Water Treatment Plant. The Plant is proposed to move from its current location on Cowley Road in order to free up the site for redevelopment. I have been meeting regularly with Anglian Water to discuss their plans, including virtually last month, and following a site selection study they are now ready to consult on three possible locations for the new plant.
Consultation on the three potential sites starts today and runs until 19 August 2020 and I hope that as many of my constituents as possible will take the time to submit their views, which will feed into Anglian Water’s decision on the final site.
