In September, I met with several of my constituents at the A10/A142 junction near Witchford to show my support for a new, safe crossing. Residents have been calling on the Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority to fund upgrades for several years now.
I followed up my visit by inviting the Mayor to meet with me in order to secure a swift resolution, but I am still awaiting a response. We cannot afford to have any more delays to the process.
I look forward to being able to move this project forwards to improve the safety of pedestrians and cyclists.
