I recently met with the team at Cambridgeshire Autonomous Metro (CAM) to discuss their vision for an expansive metro-style network that seamlessly connects homes and businesses across the region with key railway stations and Cambridge city centre. The scheme has the potential to better connect a number of villages in South East Cambridgeshire and I’m looking forward to working with the Mayor and other key stakeholders as the project develops over the coming years.
A consultation has recently been launched, and the CAM team would like to hear residents views on;
- The need for and benefits of CAM; and
- The potential route alignments for the City Tunnel Section of CAM
The consultation runs until Friday, April 3rd, and for more information about how residents can have their say, please visit https://cam.consultationonline.co.uk/public-consultation/
