A contract has been awarded for Soham Station and construction will begin later this year. The station is expected to be completed by the end of 2021, and will see a 99m platform that will accommodate four car trains, a stepped footbridge, a drop off point, car park and cycle shelters.
This is fantastic news for Soham and the surrounding area, and it has been great to see partner organisations working closely together to deliver on this important project.
Along with residents, local councillors and the Mayor I have been supporting this project for many years (as you can see from this picture with Cllr Josh Schumann taken in 2014).
