I recently met with Juliet and Andrew Carter, two recipients of Cambridgeshire's COVID Community Champions Awards.
Juliet and Andrew set up links via the parish council so that each household in Little Wilbraham had a point of contact. The system helped people to keep in touch and refer others in the area that needed help. Juliet, Andrew and their team of volunteers did all of this alongside their other jobs - Andrew as a research virologist and Juliet as a primary school teacher, both two key worker roles. Thank you to them and all those in the area that went above and beyond during the pandemic.
