During an open surgery that I recently held in Haddenham, one of the main issues raised with me by local residents was the proposed downgrading of the A1123 and A1421 from A roads to B roads.
I know that residents are concerned by the heavy traffic that currently use these roads and there is widespread support locally that these roads are downgraded to B roads. This would make it easier to install speed reduction measures, lessen maintenance costs and reduce traffic.
