Pupils from King's Ely recently debated the topical proposition, “This House believes that the sale of cigarettes should be banned” as part of my annual South East Cambridgeshire Schools Debating Competition.
The quality of arguments on both sides of the debate and the compelling delivery of points made it a very tricky debate to judge!
Many congratulations to Hugh and Eva on making it through to the final at the Palace of Westminster in March, and well done to everyone involved for putting yourselves out there to develop such a valuable life skill.
