IVF services in our region are to be reinstated from 4 August. Jan Thomas, Accountable Officer at the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough CCG has confirmed that the funding will cover one cycle, with up to three transfers of one embryo. Along with my Cambridgeshire and Peterborough colleagues, I have lobbied the CCG to reinstate access to this important fertility service, ensuring that couples have the chance to become parents and have a family. I welcome this news and will continue to support constituents who want to access this service.
