Last week, I was invited to speak at the Annual Conference of the Cambridge Area Partnership about the skills we need to be nurturing in our young people to equip them for the ever-changing world of work.
The Partnership is a large group of colleges and schools in Cambridgeshire who work collaboratively and supportively across the region to ensure the best possible transitions and career paths for their students.
In my remarks, I highlighted the value of our teachers and importance of making sure we provide enough post-16 avenues so that everyone has opportunity.
