Voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations play a crucial role in our local communities and the support they provide is vital, especially in recent times with the higher cost of living.
To support these organisations, the Government week has launched the £76 million ‘Community Organisations Cost of Living Fund’ through the National Lottery Community Fund, which will provide grants of between £10,000 and £75,000 to critical frontline services during this financial year. This includes organisations who provide subsistence-level support around food, warmth, shelter, safety and associated advice. Those that have been most impacted by increased demand for their service and increased delivery costs will be prioritised.
Applications are now open, until midday on 16 October 2023, with successful applicants receiving funding around 12 weeks after their submission.
