Sixty Year 5 Pupils at St Andrews CE Primary School in Soham were introduced to the art of debating by their MP, Lucy Frazer.
The session comprised a fun and lively balloon debate and a more formal debate for and against school uniform.
Lucy said, "I hope that this introduction to debating will encourage the children to seek out further opportunities to hone their debating skills as they grow older. Having the confidence and the ability to express your views in an orderly and clear manner is such an advantage in life. It takes practice, and there is no better time to start than while at school."
