Lucy recently met with stakeholders, led by Amy Starkey from the Newmarket Jockey Club, working on the Newmarket Rail Vision and East West Rail Link.
Better rail across the constituency will take traffic off the roads, and make our area a more desirable place to live. The priorities of the project include a half-hourly passenger rail service from Newmarket to Cambridge including stops at Dullingham and Kennett, the restoration of the loop for services between Ely, Soham, Newmarket and Cambridge, as well as further and direct rail connectivity with Oxford and the West of England, London, Bedford and the North of England.
