During July, Lucy visited Ely Museum to see the astonishing gold torc display.
The torc was discovered in East Cambridgeshire in 2015 by a metal detectorist. Dating from around 1300-1100BC, it is regarded as the best to be found in England in more than a century.
Whilst at the Museum, Lucy heard more about the museum's plans for expansion. Ely museum is open throughout the summer before doors close in September ready for works to begin on a radical renovation and redevelopment programme. Be sure to take the opportunity to visit the museum before it's too late!
