This year’s Mental Health Awareness Week focuses on improving people’s understanding of anxiety.
Anxiety is a normal human emotion, but for some, it can be persistent and often overwhelming. According to ONS figures from 2022-23, this is the reality for approximately 37% of women and 30% of men in the UK who report ‘high levels’.
If you suffer from anxiety or any other mental health problem, it is important that you know that help is available, including via some of the excellent NHS and charity services in Cambridgeshire.
These can be best located on www.keep-your-head.com, which is an information hub developed by the Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council Public Health Team.
