I was pleased to recently meet with Jane Paterson-Todd and Dan Thorp of Cambridge Ahead to discuss their submission to the BEIS Select Committee's Post-Pandemic Economic Growth super-inquiry. This was launched in June this year and is looking at the options available for Government to secure the UK's economic recovery from the impact of COVID 19, focusing on investment opportunities, industrial strategy, jobs, skills, exports and sustainable growth.
Cambridge Ahead is particularly focused on the levelling up agenda, offering schools career guidance, apprenticeship opportunities for school leavers and supporting disadvantaged schools.
