Meeting with Neil O'Brien about NHS dentistry

Enhancing access to NHS dentistry is one of the government’s priorities for the health service.

I recently met with Health Minister, Neil O’Brien, to highlight some of the issues experienced by my constituents and I will shortly be speaking to the CEO of NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Jan Thomas, about the Integrated Care Board’s initiatives to improve the service offer regionally.

At the same time, the government is readying its ‘Dentistry Recovery Plan’ – focused on recruitment, retention and efficiency – which will be published shortly. Enhancing access to NHS dentistry is one of the government’s priorities for the health service.
