I recently met with Richard Holden MP, the Roads & Local Transport Minister, to discuss ongoing efforts to upgrade the stretch of the A10 between Cambridge and Ely.
As many of my constituents will know, I’ve been pressing for improvements to the A10 since before I was elected MP for South East Cambridgeshire in 2015 and I was delighted when the Department for Transport made £4 million of funding available to Cambridgeshire County Council and the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority to prepare a full outline business case for making the necessary upgrades.
I’m determined to see this project progress and I’m extremely grateful to the Roads Minister for his offer to meet with me and the officials preparing the outline business case to find a way to make this happen.
