I recently popped into shops along Soham High Street to speak with shop owners about issues they are currently facing.
In the past, I have been able to help local businesses on a wide range of matters from getting graffiti removed from buildings, to getting the Highways Authority to fill-in potholes on the road, to raising cases of vacant premises with the local district council.
One of my visits was to CornerCopia Living + Gifts where the shop owner, Jack, shared with me his concerns about town parking and access to business grants – both of which I am looking into.
