As Cambridgeshire MPs, Steve Barclay and I have written to the Health Secretary supporting the bid submitted by the Princess of Wales Hospital for £45 million of investment from the UK Government. If approved, this funding would make possible significant upgrades to healthcare services for the people of Ely and surrounding areas, including increased levels of day surgery, as well as outpatient, diagnostic and urgent care services.
