In 2023/24, mainstream school funding for primary and secondary schools will increase by more than £2.5 billion compared to this year. Funding for children and young people with complex special educational needs and disabilities will also increase by almost £1 billion. This means an extra £44 million of investment for Cambridgeshire in 2023/24 compared with this year, an increase of 8.4%.
It also means that by 2024/25 school funding in England will be at its highest level in real terms per pupil, totalling £58.8 billion.
