Support for the Ely Area Capacity Enhancement

Delivery of the Ely Area Capacity Enhancement Project would increase capacity by 30%, enabling more passenger and freight services and delivering the economic boost our local area needs.

Analysis completed by Network Rail as part of the Outline Business Case revealed £4.89 return on every £1 invested.

I continue to press the Rail Minister, Huw Merriman MP for an update on the Rail Network Enhancement Pipeline and when we can expect to receive further information on this project.
