I was delighted to meet Craig Taylor and some of the other volunteers at Ukraine Lifeline. They have done an amazing job and have now raised more than £2.5million in goods to help those affected by the war in Ukraine.
During the visit I met with volunteers, and families who have left Ukraine for the UK. They are integrating with the local community well and are so grateful for the support that they are being given.
Local support has been amazing enabling volunteer drivers to take vanloads of aid over to Ukraine and Poland, as well as helping those who have arrived in Cambridgeshire. Thank you to everyone who has put in the time and effort to support this vital effort and to all the volunteers.
Going forward, Ukraine Lifeline will be focusing its efforts on corporate donations and funding. If you would like to support Ukraine Lifeline then visit ukrainelifeline.com
