Since being elected as local MP, I have worked with others locally to improve our cycling infrastructure. The Greenways project is an important way of doing this.
However, as with any local infrastructure project, it is vital that the GCP properly consults residents so that they can adequately understand the local area and avoid inadvertent problems.
I know that many residents in Swaffham Prior have expressed concerns about the initial proposal for the Swaffham Greenway, particularly in relation to the impact on other road users, which is why I wrote last week to the Assistant Project Manager at the GCP to ask that they keep me updated on the timetable for their upcoming project review.
