I recently visited Beach Babies Nursery in Wilburton, an early years education centre/nursery that has been open for 8 years. I met Paul and Tracy, the team behind Beach Babies along with Carolyn, the manager and staff member Hannah. I also met Victoriia and Serhii, two Ukrainian refugees who were initially sponsored by Tracy and Paul.
Beach Babies encourages its children to spend lots of time outside, with plenty of tricycles and outdoor stories on offer. I was also pleased to hear that they have received £30,000 funding from East Cambridgeshire council for a building project to create new classrooms for older children at the nursery.
