On Friday, I visited Bottisham Airfield Museum, which has just reopened to the public in preparation for the summer.
Established in 2009, the museum brings to life a Second World War Air Force base and captures what daily life would have been like for the occupant British and American squadrons from 1940-1945.
With its rich local cultural offering, I would recommend a visit, which you can do on either a Wednesday or Sunday.
