Burwell Museum is a fascinating local museum that reveals how people lived on the edge of the Fens from as early as the 18th century. It has a wide selection of items, including rare vehicles, pottery and a copy Victorian Schoolroom.
The Museum is run by volunteers who donate their time to keeping it open to the public, and I had the pleasure of speaking with them recently about their contribution and the value of the museum to the community through generations.
While it is currently closed to the public during the Winter, do get yourself along from the end of March when it reopens!
