Last week, I formally opened a new facility at Cambridge Science Park for tech firm Hanwha Phasor. Founded in 2020, Hanwha Phasor specialises in enterprise-grade antennas for satellite communication in flight, on land and at sea.
The firm is owned by a South Korean defence company called Hanwha Systems who will have spent £18 million on the Cambridge facility by the end of 2024.
The decision of a huge global firm like Hanwha Systems to choose Cambridgeshire for a new major project speaks volumes about our area’s prestige in science and technology.
