I recently visited the JobCentre Plus in Ely to see at first hand the support they are providing to Ukrainian refugees looking for employment. The Centre is providing a wide range of services including starter packs in both English and Ukrainian, English lessons and a variety of digital support.
I also received an update on the types and number of jobs available, with advisors confirming that a range of employment opportunities are available across a wide range of sectors and for all skill levels.
As our local area and communities across Cambridgeshire continue to generously host Ukrainian refugees, I look forward to continuing to work with the JobCentre Plus to establish further links between firms seeking staff and those looking for employment.
