I was pleased to visit the Ovins Rise development, run by the Haddenham Community Land Trust on Friday.
When complete, the site will have 54 new homes and a children’s play area set in landscaped surroundings. Some tenants have already moved in, and the development is set to be completed in 2022/2023.
The unpaid volunteers and trustees of HCLT have worked hard to deliver affordable housing alongside other stakeholders including the Parish Council, East Cambridgeshire District Council, the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority and Homes England.
This development will help to provide high quality affordable homes for families and will have a positive effect on the local community. Well done to all that have made this vision a reality!
