The Prospects Trust at Snakehall Farm is an excellent provider of work, skills and training for people with additional needs and learning disabilities in my constituency.
On Friday, I had the pleasure of meeting some of the workers on the Trust’s 18-acre organic farm in Reach. Under the farm’s large weatherproof pod, participants can develop their agricultural skills by growing and harvesting produce throughout the year.
The pod is just one of Prospects Trust’s assets that has been funded by Cambridgeshire Community Foundation; a charity which connects philanthropy with local charities to improve the quality of life for people in Cambridgeshire. Since they were founded almost 20 years ago, the foundation has awarded over £30 million to charities and community groups across our county.
