Recently I met with the Head of Robert Arkenstall School, Kate Bonney. We discussed the future of school funding, and the increases in funding since 2015, whilst also recognising there is also more work to be done in the area of special needs. During my visit, I was also particularly pleased to see the school’s Year 5/6 Oracy project, which builds helps build confidence. I was impressed by the presentation skills of the pupils involved.
