Recently I visited SimPrints, a non-profit technology company which builds biometric fingerprint technology for use by governments, NGOs, and non-profits.
The Simprints system supports frontline workers who deliver essential services for those that need it most, and helps people in the developing world who struggle to prove their legal identity.
It was great to meet with the committed staff, learn about the new technology that the company is putting into effect, and see first-hand the benefits of DFID grants.
