Today, I welcomed Health Minister, Lord Markham, to Cambridge Biomedical Campus to mark the start of enabling works on Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital.
The hospital will soon lead the way in cancer research, detection and precision treatments for both Cambridgeshire and the whole of the UK.
I have supported the hospital's application for government funding for many years in partnership with my neighbouring MP, Anthony Browne MP, and so I was delighted to finally see spades in the ground!
