I recently met with the Chair of Haddenham Parish Council to discuss how I can help them to secure better speed enforcement measures and a weight limit for the A1421 to prevent HGVs from rat-running through the village.
I have supported Haddenham’s campaign over several months, including by pressing the county council to give attention to the issue, because I am determined to reduce the risks to residents’ safety, which I have seen first-hand.
It is not just road safety measures that the parish council are working on, and I look forward to giving my full support to their other exciting initiatives in the village.
