Last week I met with the Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, James Palmer and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Ministers, Victoria Prentis and Rebecca Pow to discuss farming matters. A really useful catch up and an opportunity to highlight the significant contribution the Fens makes for UK agricultural production and the vital role farming food chain businesses play in our local economy.
