Last week I had a very helpful conversation with the County Council and the Combined Authority about the A10. This road is at capacity for traffic volume, which is causing severe congestion and delays to people’s journeys.
I am pleased that the County Council and Combined Authority recognise that improvements are needed, and the Department of Transport has provided funding so that a detailed study of options can be prepared. I also made clear that local residents support the dualling of the A10, which I have been campaigning for since before I entered Parliament.
As the County Council and Combined Authority consider the options, I will continue to press the case for dualling and represent the views of constituents
