Today I joined constituents and neighbouring MP Matt Hancock on the 'No to Sunnica' march.
With a turnout of approximately 160 local people it was clear that there is significant opposition to the Sunnica proposal. Whilst it is right that we increase our domestic supply of energy and that renewable energy is a vital part of that, I recognise the concerns of my constituents to the scale and location of Sunnica’s proposal.
Furthermore I understand the concerns that this project is on productive agricultural land. I will continue to support and stand with my constituents in their opposition to this project.
