Over the past month I have been working closely with Steve Barclay MP, Cllr Anna Bailey, leader of East Cambs District Council, and the Integrated Care Board to keep Priors Field Surgery in Sutton open.
The lease to the current practice premises is now secured and from 1 April, Malling Health will deliver primary care services at Priors Field Surgery. Initially, this will be for a period of 12 months with the potential to extend.
From 1 April, patients at Priors Field Surgery will be able to access the same services at the same location. This is great news as the closure of Priors Field Surgery would have impacted both Sutton residents as well as my constituents if large numbers of Priors Field patients had been re-allocated to neighbouring practices in Ely and Haddenham.
