Founded in 2011 by Karen Burgess, Petals provides support for families affected by baby loss, specialising in counselling. The charity provides over 5000 specialised counselling a sessions a year, and I met with Karen at their office in Bottisham for an update on their work and to discuss issues around charitable giving.
The Petals team are a lifeline for families in the Cambridgeshire area and I will shortly be welcoming them to Parliament as part of my Local Volunteer Awards.
