This country's wetlands attract a wealth of species which play a crucial part of our ecosystem.
I recently visited one in my constituency, Ouse Fen, to see the excellent work that has been done to create habitats and sequester carbon through the restoration of freshwater minerals.
As well as contributing to our local environment, Ouse Fen is also a beautiful place to walk, and any visitors can benefit from the 32km of footpaths that have been established.
