What a fabulous Coronation weekend! After the magnificent Coronation on Saturday and the fantastic concert on Sunday, 6 million people joined in with The Big Help Out on Monday as part of a national day of volunteering.
I was delighted to take part in a number of events locally, joining volunteers at Age UK and East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice, as well as a community litter pick in Soham and dropping into the Soham Community Group.
It was wonderful to see so many people come together to lend a hand in our community, experience how rewarding volunteering can be and the difference it can make.
